Multimedia

I've had this class circled on my schedule since I began at Boise State a couple years ago.  I really believe that multimedia is a great, engaging way to reach students.  It seems like a tool that, when utilized effectively, can really make an impact.

I teach high school English, but since I also teach journalism, multimedia is doubly important for me.  To be a dynamic media teacher, a teacher needs to understand and use media dynamically.

I'm hoping this class will give me good strategies for integrating multimedia into teaching, but also introduce ideas that I can pass on to my journalism students.  I really look forward to this semester.

    Great looking paper Justin. Crazy to hear about the loss of novels in the classroom! At least you still have freedom of speech... We're in the process of relaunching our website and uploading old PDFs of our print paper onto Issuu. I'll look forward to swapping papers with you. It may even be neat to create some kind of critique exercise, where our students could give each other constructive feedback. Sometimes, advice and suggestions can mean more coming from others than they can from us.
