Kara Godfrey Intro

Greetings! My name is Kara Godfrey and this is my 5th class in the Edtech program at BSU. I have been involved in the technical writing arena for more than 22 years and wanted to learn more about using technology to teach others. In my current job we translate our web documents to 35+ languages, so we have been moving forward with animations with less words and more graphics. That is working out well with the customers. I am taking this class to learn more about creating multimedia learning programs that use less words and more graphics.But, I'd like to learn more about why the use of multimedia is effective for more than just reducing localization costs. That's what I want to learn about in this class.
