Hi, my name is Robert Selzler. I am currently support
operations—read "help desk"—in a distance learning department at LCSC in Lewiston,
Idaho. My background is in secondary education, and this is my third semester
in the EdTech program; I hope to graduate next fall.
In this course, I look to gain new multimedia competencies
primarily for course design. Our department will likely be hiring an additional
instructional designer soon, and I am hoping to position myself to be a
shoe-in. Further, I would like to engage in online secondary teaching—English is
my content area—one the side, so I would also like to gain pedagogical as well
as technical understanding.
